Job Function: Supply Chain & Logistics

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and deliver CAPEX and customer connection projects from initiation to closure (11kV to 400kV).
•Lead the design of EHV substations and related equipment, including tower/wood pole designs and CAD documentation.
•Develop and assess network system designs and planning options with cost considerations.
•Interpret technical documentation and ensure compliance with engineering standards for EHV plants.
•Collaborate with project teams, DNOs, contractors and developers to deliver reliable electricity infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline and experience in project management, design or system network planning for UK distribution and/or transmission.
•Experience in OHL tower and wood pole design with PLS-Cadd, pole and tower experience.
•Design of AIS and GIS substations up to 400kV and knowledge of engineering standards for EHV plant.
•Ability to interpret technical documentation relating to the design of electrical substations.
•Strong CAD experience and ability to manage document control for electrical projects.
