Key Responsibilities

  • •Own SLO/SLI for real-time services and continuously improve latency, availability, jitter, and packet loss.
  • •Lead incident response for critical outages across the real-time platform, coordinating across time zones and engineering disciplines.
  • •Implement chaos engineering and game day exercises to identify failure modes before user impact.
  • •Build and evolve observability for real-time media infrastructure, including dashboards, alerting, and distributed tracing.
  • •Provide architectural leadership for deployment patterns, infrastructure design, CI/CD pipeline standards, and progressive rollout strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, including at least 3 years at a staff or principal scope level.
  • •Own reliability in production for large-scale, distributed, latency-sensitive systems.
  • •Support real-time or media-heavy platforms such as video conferencing, live streaming, gaming, trading, or similar.
  • •Architectural understanding of real-time communication protocols including WebRTC, RTP/RTCP, TURN/STUN, SDP, and SFU/MCU topologies.
  • •Expertise in cloud and orchestration plus automation/observability: AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes/Helm/ArgoCD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Pulumi), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry).
