Job Summary

Join the EMEA OpenStack system team within the MIS organization to deploy, manage, and operate OpenStack-based private cloud platforms. You’ll automate and patch Linux servers, handle incidents and technical escalations, perform upgrades and security patching, and support 24/7 OnCall coverage. Working with remote field engineers and teammates, you’ll help drive new platform deployments and contribute procedures and scripts for reliable, secure production operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage multiple production OpenStack private cloud infrastructures across EMEA and help develop and deploy new platforms.
•Handle incidents and technical escalations through troubleshooting, investigation, and analysis.
•Install, configure, automate, and patch Linux servers at scale using git and ansible.
•Support EMEA systems installation, including physical server planning/layout, host installation, and system configuration and tuning.
•Perform change management activities such as production changes, upgrades, security patching, and manage 24/7 OnCall support with the team.

Key Requirements

•Around 5 years of experience with production platforms.
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent training and experience).
•Advanced experience with Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
•Experience in OpenStack administration.
•Experience with scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash, etc.) and repository management like git, plus change management process and Jira.
