Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers for existing platforms and new product development.
  • •Aggregate the demand picture for hardware supporting the Starshield satellite constellation and enable an accurate demand signal.
  • •Serve as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, partnering to run the RFX process and implement sourcing decisions.
  • •Manage costs against project budgets and forecasts, and develop should-cost models for competitive cost analysis.
  • •Support prototype builds and ramp to mass production, drive internal/external process improvements, and present value propositions to executives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management (or 7+ years in one or more of these).
