Job Summary

In this on-site apprenticeship role, you’ll support first-level maintenance of rental refrigeration equipment for Trane’s location park. Working with experienced technicians and the Parc de Montpellier team, you’ll perform basic checks (electrical connections, refrigeration lines, and machine operation tests), prepare units for specific activities, and report weekly on accessories and replacements while suggesting improvements to grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform first-level maintenance of equipment (e.g., cleaning, checking electrical connections and refrigeration lines, touch-ups).
•Run machine functional checks on a test bench.
•Inspect accessories, identify items to replace and any upcoming work, and provide a weekly report.
•Prepare equipment for specific activities related to the business (e.g., ice rinks, special construction sites).
•Identify and propose material improvements to support business development.

Key Requirements

•Prepare a diploma in refrigeration, air conditioning, energy, or building systems (e.g., BTS MS, FED, or an equivalent program).
•Hold or be working toward a relevant qualification such as Bac pro ICCER or MFER, or a professional bachelor’s degree in refrigeration installations.
•Have strong computer skills and good writing skills.
•Demonstrate customer service mindset and good interpersonal skills.
•Be able to work autonomously with rigor and good synthesis; a valid driver’s license is a plus.
