Key Responsibilities

•Lead electrical studies for utility, industrial/commercial, and IPP clients, including short circuit, protective coordination, wide area coordination, and relay settings criteria development, ensuring NERC compliance and protective hardware testing.
•Provide strategic leadership for the electrical engineering discipline, guiding project delivery, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance across projects.
•Direct larger-scale, complex electrical engineering projects, managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and contract work to successful timely completion.
•Drive pursuit and development of electrical infrastructure work within a geography, building the pipeline for large-area projects.
•Lead technical aspects of contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings, and support long-term strategy and growth of electrical engineering capabilities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
•12+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure design for power generation, transmission, and distribution at utility/industrial scale
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred)
•Advanced proficiency with electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues
•Advanced proficiency with office automation and discipline-specific design software (i.e., CADD, Aspen, CAPE, ETAP, WIN IGS, Inventor, AutoCAD electrical) and related tools
