Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Carvana’s Class 8 fleet.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems using diagnostic tools/software.
•Repair aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters.
•Maintain accurate records and work with your team to optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
•Follow safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure DOT compliance.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers (or similar equipment).
•Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
•Proficiency using diagnostic software and a laptop for manuals; experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
•Minimum of two ASE certifications within the first 6 months of employment (T-series highly valued).
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to perform physical maintenance tasks.
