Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Carvana’s Class 8 fleet.
  • •Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems using diagnostic tools/software.
  • •Repair aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters.
  • •Maintain accurate records and work with your team to optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
  • •Follow safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure DOT compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers (or similar equipment).
  • •Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
  • •Proficiency using diagnostic software and a laptop for manuals; experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
  • •Minimum of two ASE certifications within the first 6 months of employment (T-series highly valued).
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to perform physical maintenance tasks.
