Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment, including spotting cement storage vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Learn and support basic oil well operations including plug landing pressures, absolute volumes, hydrostatic/differential pressure, and cement blending calculations.
  • •Assist in operating cement pumping/mixed equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, pumps, data acquisition/ADC systems, and delivery/storage systems.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Verify correct valve lineups and follow hazardous materials, job, wash up, and discharge procedures while complying with HSE requirements and participating in quality improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Must have 3-6 months of experience as Operator Assistant I – Cementing, or 1 year of related oilfield services experience.
  • •Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement is required, including manual transmission experience.
  • •Completion of Operator Assistant I – Cementing competencies (or similar competence from prior industry experience).
  • •Able to lift 60 lbs, pass background/physical/drug screen, and perform basic math while following routine oral and written instructions.
