Job Summary

Build and grow the Middle East investor capital franchise by establishing coverage across GCC sovereign wealth funds, government-related entities, and principal family offices. Lead sovereign and family office relationship mapping, fundraising and pre-marketing, co-investment dialogues, and end-to-end diligence. Advise the DIFC vs ADGM hub decision, coordinate with government relations, ensure regulatory compliance (DIFC/ADGM/placements), and recruit the initial regional Relationship Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Own senior coverage of GCC sovereign wealth funds and government-related entities, including investment vehicles and the firm’s most senior relationships.
•Build family office coverage and maintain complete, current records in the firm’s relationship platform.
•Lead regional fundraising and pre-marketing for investment vehicles, coordinating with counsel on jurisdiction marketing approaches.
•Originate and manage sovereign co-investment dialogues and support government-aligned financing conversations through execution.
•Advise the DIFC vs ADGM hub decision, establish the regional office with Legal and Finance, coordinate government relations, recruit/build the regional team, and ensure regulatory compliance and counterparty awareness (KYC/AML/sanctions).

Key Requirements

•10+ years covering MENA institutional capital, including at least 5 years in a senior client-facing capacity.
•Demonstrable senior relationships within GCC sovereign institutions and principal family offices, with a record of capital raised, commitments secured, or partnerships executed.
•Working knowledge of the regional regulatory landscape for fund marketing and promotion, including DIFC and ADGM frameworks and GCC private placement practice.
•Experience marketing alternative strategies (e.g., credit, special situations, private equity) to sovereign and family office investors, including Shariah-aware structuring considerations.
•A bachelor’s degree is required.
