Job Summary

Own weekly sales forecasting within Sephora’s Central Supply Chain S&OP process, using demand drivers like events and market/economic context. Ensure forecasts align with sales trends, seasonality, and forecast accuracy, and optimize forecasting models by analyzing errors and historical data. Manage promotions, new product launches/one-shot items, and stock-outs, coordinating with local Supply Chain teams and Finance on budgets and demand scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and adjust weekly sales forecasts by analyzing factors impacting sales, and ensure consistency with sales trends and seasonality.
•Analyze forecast accuracy, identify influencing factors, and optimize sales forecasting models and methods.
•Validate historical data relevance and document exceptional sales occurrences.
•Develop strategies for managing forecasts for products phased out or overstocked, and handle promotional events’ impact on sales and stock needs.
•Manage new product launches and one-shot items in the forecasting tool, analyze performance across markets, and coordinate replenishment and stock-outs; participate in cross-functional reporting and meetings.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
•At least 4 years of experience in Demand Planning (retail experience is a plus).
•Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numerical data.
•Rigorous, proactive, and able to thrive in a challenging environment.
•Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; fluent English to work with stakeholders across markets.
