Analyst responsible for US GAAP/IFRS lease accounting across real estate, operating and finance leases, leveraging Oracle, CoStar and BlackLine to ensure accurate close, compliance with SOX and continuous improvement in a global shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure close process and reconciliations for leases are completed on a timely basis.
•Prepare standard monthly reconciliations and journal entries to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements.
•Abstraction of financial data for new, modified and existing leases in Co-Star.
•Prepare amortisation schedules from Co-Star.
•Prepare standard journals to record asset and liability adjustments from Co-Star amortisation schedule.

Key Requirements

•CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred; minimum 2 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 1 year of leases experience and 1 year in a global organisation

•ability to obtain information and identify key issues to achieve long-term goals (strategic decision making)
