Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider applicants with an associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract.
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
