Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a core area of the AI application platform end-to-end, leading from discovery and vision through roadmap, delivery, and iteration.
  • •Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with MongoDB’s AI strategy and business goals.
  • •Conduct customer discovery (startups to enterprises) to understand workflows, pain points, and what MongoDB should build.
  • •Write clear product narratives, memos, and specs to guide cross-functional alignment and clarify trade-offs.
  • •Set and drive success metrics, partner with stakeholders to scope and ship initiatives, and iterate based on learning from what’s shipped.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in product management building platforms, infrastructure, or developer-facing products—ideally in cloud, data, or AI.
  • •Proven end-to-end ownership from problem framing and vision through roadmap, execution, launch, and iteration.
  • •Customer obsession with experience running discovery calls and turning messy feedback into clear product decisions.
  • •Strong written and live communication to drive decisions in an async, distributed environment.
  • •Technical depth to collaborate with senior engineers on distributed systems, cloud services, and AI/ML tooling, and ask strong clarifying questions.
