Key Responsibilities

  • •Design optimum environmental tests for requirements involving vibration/shaker, climatic/pressure/rain test chambers, and related setups.
  • •Establish correct configuration for environmental test requests with clients.
  • •Design test fixtures and contribute to producing test procedures technicians can follow.
  • •Prepare test reports and format data for insertion into those reports.
  • •Ensure environmental test equipment is used per range documentation and contribute to technology watch and improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • •Understanding of environmental testing (vibration, shock, drop, thermal, humidity, etc.).
  • •Basic knowledge of military equipment environmental testing.
  • •Basic knowledge of dynamics, vibration, thermodynamics, and related data analysis techniques.
  • •Experience applying scientific methodologies and systems-engineering principles to test and evaluation activities.
