Aerothermal Engineer

Own the end-to-end aerothermal and thermal engineering cycle for UAV platforms, from early design guidance and simulation through wind tunnel experiments and flight test campaigns. Provide thermal management architecture recommendations, run and validate coupled thermal-fluid CFD models, and drive optimization to reduce hotspot intensity and thermal drag. Lead instrumentation strategy and data correlation, and serve as the thermal interface across aerodynamics, propulsion, mechanical, and GNC teams to ensure thermal margins are met.
