Job Summary

Support ConocoPhillips’ corporate Sustainable Development (SD) team across international operations by assisting with sustainability strategy, assessments, governance processes, and external environmental/social reporting. You’ll participate in sustainability standards and practices implementation, perform data gathering, analysis, and benchmarking research, and collaborate across functions including public policy, supply chain, finance, assets, and operations. Internships run 10–14 weeks and are based at headquarters in Houston, Texas.

•Conduct benchmarking and research on sustainability-related topics and assist with cross-functional sustainability projects.

Key Requirements

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution.
•Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering and Sciences, Economics, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Current level in college: Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student.
•Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2028.
•Minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship.
