Job Summary

Own and drive local HR operations in Portugal from Lisbon, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for transferred teams into Turner & Townsend. Serve as the go-to HR contact for employee relations, manage Portuguese compensation and benefits compliance, and run the monthly payroll process with an external provider. Handle HR policies, contracts, performance management, HR data/HRIS queries, and support training, H&S, engagement, and local HR projects (including some talent acquisition support).

Key Responsibilities

•Lead onboarding and new-hire orientations, supporting integration of the transferred CBRE team.
•Act as the go-to HR contact for employee relations and coordinate with Iberia/Europe HR as needed.
•Implement benefits programs, ensure Portuguese compliance, and support annual rewards cycles.
•Own and drive monthly payroll for the Portuguese entity with preparation for the external payroll provider.
•Ensure HR compliance and administration across employment contracts, policies, work time recording, H&S, performance review cycles, and HR data/HRIS inquiries, while supporting training, engagement, and local HR projects.

Key Requirements

•>5 years of experience in a similar HR role in Portugal within an international, complex environment with exposure to multiple HR areas.
•Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor law and local employment regulations.
•Fluent Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
•Experience with HRIS Workday (preferred).
•Valid Portuguese work and residence permit and a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
