Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure personal safety and coworker safety while promoting a safe work environment in compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
  • •Perform installation, acceptance testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation throughout the LIP complex.
  • •Prepare for work by reviewing job scopes and acquiring required parts, tools, and instructions; isolate, clear, and work on plant equipment safely.
  • •Collaborate with equipment owners and supervision to complete tasks on time; update supervisors on progress and problems.
  • •Complete required documentation using a computerized maintenance management system and ensure compliance with NFPA 70 and 70E.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Trade school/certification (NCCER, NICET, NETA, ISA, or relevant military) with 3 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree with 2 years, or a bachelor’s degree with 1 year.
  • •Proven maintenance technician experience with knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • •Computer skills, including typing and SAP knowledge (as needed for the role).
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings such as loop sheets, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
