Histotechnician

Perform histological preparations for tissue used in whole exome/genome sequencing workflows with high accuracy. Prepare tissues, stained slides, and conduct tasks such as macrodissection and supporting lab activities. After training, independently handle testing, reagent, and equipment preparation, participate in validations and reagent qualifications, and manage case processing to meet departmental TAT goals. Contribute to EH&S initiatives, update SOPs, document corrective actions, and provide lab oversight and guidance.
