Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the site supervision team throughout the construction phase and provide strategic technical direction to site supervision personnel.
  • •Act as the primary technical representative between the client, contractor, authorities, and design consultants to ensure works align with contract documents and approved designs.
  • •Monitor construction progress against the approved programme; review contractor methodologies, sequences, and submissions; identify risks and recommend mitigation and recovery strategies.
  • •Administer construction contracts, including reviewing claims, variations, and extension of time, certifying completed works, and maintaining project records.
  • •Ensure quality and HSE compliance by implementing the Project Quality Plan, overseeing inspections and NCR corrective actions, and promoting a strong safety culture in line with UAE HSE requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Resident Engineer on major construction projects.
  • •Minimum 20 years’ post-graduate experience in engineering consultancy or construction supervision.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng), PE, or equivalent professional registration is preferred.
  • •Extensive UAE and/or GCC project experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary site supervision teams.
