Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and grow a cross-disciplinary Avionics & Flight Software team across electronics, embedded software, and GNC.
  • •Drive avionics architecture and flight controller electronics implementation, including sensor selection/integration and board bring-up.
  • •Own the embedded software chain (drivers, BSP, firmware, and release cycle) for safety-relevant systems.
  • •Drive GNC work including control loops, sensor fusion, and navigation for autonomous flight with hardware and in-air validation.
  • •Coordinate integration and validation across airframe, propulsion, ground segment, and RF teams, supporting flight test and qualification evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in embedded systems, avionics, or flight software engineering in defense, aerospace, or robotics, including leading or coordinating engineers.
  • •MSc in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Aerospace, Robotics, or a closely related field.
  • •Experience taking at least one product from concept to production (e.g., flight controller or autopilot), ideally with unit cost as a hard design constraint.
  • •Own a full stack across electronics, firmware, and GNC rather than a single slice.
  • •Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable making local decisions while maintaining rigor for safety-relevant systems.
