Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and test operational and non-operational/test software for processing and presenting real-time high-capacity satellite data.
  • •Support software integration and test activities and participate in software qualification testing to meet DO-178B standards.
  • •Maintain and update software process documentation, work instructions, and documentation for test/verification/design activities.
  • •Generate and collect software metrics for management and engineering reviews, and lead/identify process improvement opportunities.
  • •Support software process audits, engineering reviews, and interfaces with other disciplines to meet program milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience and a STEM degree (or an advanced degree with at least 3 years).
  • •5+ years in software engineering using a UNIX/Linux-based environment, with expertise in C programming, structured programming, and the full SDLC.
  • •Experience with software testing (unit, integration, and system testing) and source code debugging using various debuggers.
  • •Experience with source code configuration management systems including ClearCase, ClearQuest, Jira, and BitBucket/Git.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program/contracts.
