Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and mitigate safety and reliability risks using FMECA and Design Verification Testing.
  • •Partner with Product Safety Engineering to interpret safety compliance and Applied Minimum Product Safety Requirements across industry standards.
  • •Develop acceleration techniques and analytical tools to detect potential safety/reliability problems early in new products.
  • •Improve procedures to prevent equipment damage or injury and prepare/present safety and reliability reports.
  • •Perform root-cause analysis of field failures and collaborate with suppliers on improvement changes.

Salary: USD 100,000 - 136,500

Key Requirements

  • •Understanding of safety compliance to Applied Minimum Product Safety Requirements and industry standards (e.g., SEMI S2, IPC 610D, IEC/EN 61000, JESD22, MIL-STD-810).
  • •Knowledge of safety requirements such as UL/CE/TUV and ability to apply risk identification and mitigation methods using FMECA and Design Verification Test.
  • •Depth and/or breadth of expertise in semiconductor equipment, especially single point of failure products, to improve safety and reliability.
  • •Develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to enable early identification of potential problems.
  • •Ability to automate data analysis using AI and communicate/negotiates difficult concepts to influence outcomes.
