Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn and develop trade knowledge and skills related to plant maintenance, machinery, processes and systems on site
  • •Work toward completing an apprenticeship via a nationally recognised training plan through internal and external training (i.e., Tas TAFE)
  • •Work as part of a team to ensure safe, continuous and environmentally responsible operations
  • •Gain experience from qualified trade experts while being supported by onsite apprentice mentors
  • •Build electrical and/or mechanical skills by working across a variety of maintenance areas under area supervisors

Key Requirements

  • •Passing grades in Maths and English
  • •Demonstrated interest in Electrical or Mechanical systems and/or projects

  • •Successfully completed Year 12 (or expected to complete in 2025) with required maths grades (Essential Maths for Mechanical; General Maths or Maths Methods for Electrical)
