Job Summary

Design and validate proof-of-concept research for novel agentic and generative AI applications within Thales’ Applied AI Research Team. Translate advanced AI/ML concepts into mission-critical solutions, developing prototypes and demonstrators to assess feasibility and business value. Work within a multidisciplinary team to apply rigorous scientific methods, integrate LLM workflows, and communicate research outcomes through publications, patents, and stakeholder briefings.

Key Responsibilities

•Discover, enable, and integrate innovative generative and agentic AI concepts into Thales solutions.
•Validate feasibility via proofs of concept (PoCs) and develop prototypes/demonstrators to illustrate business potential.
•Learn and assess new AI techniques and technologies to decide what to adopt, adapt, or discard.
•Develop AI/ML solutions with a focus on generative AI deployed as agentic AI or LLM workflows.
•Contribute as a technical subject-matter expert and communicate research outputs through publications, patents, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Requirements

•MSc in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
•Prior experience in AI/ML.

•Fluency in French (spoken and written).
