Key Responsibilities

  • •Support environmental permitting activities for Kinder Morgan assets and projects.
  • •Coordinate permitting activities including regulatory reviews, environmental field surveys, agency communications/negotiations, permit submissions, and mitigation measures.
  • •Manage consultants by overseeing quality, schedule, and completion of assigned permitting tasks.
  • •Track and manage permitting budgets, including soliciting bids, preparing work-directive requests, and reviewing consultant invoices.
  • •Provide environmental and regulatory guidance on permitting strategies and processes to reduce costs, risks, and schedule delays.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum of five years of experience in environmental permitting, consulting, or a related field.
  • •Demonstrated compliance experience with federal environmental laws and permitting requirements (e.g., NEPA, ESA, NHPA, Clean Water Act, MBTA, FERC processes).
  • •Experience with applicable state environmental review and permitting requirements (e.g., CEQA, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act).
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and strong written and verbal communication skills.
