Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as overall technical/engineering lead and project lead, ensuring technically correct customer solutions within schedule and budget.
  • •Own functional design outputs including functional design specifications, architecture, BOM, and project templates/standards for gas detection systems.
  • •Independently execute detailed design engineering for gas detection hardware and software on third-party PLC & SCADA, including development, testing, integration, FAT, site installation, loop testing, commissioning, and handover.
  • •Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure change control, identify risks/opportunities, and ensure delivery of required quality/standards and documentation.
  • •Lead teamwork (including third-party engineering teams) in compliance with quality/safety procedures, conduct site visits and customer meetings, and perform thorough quality checks on final deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •12-15 years of hands-on experience in DCS/Safety PLC/PLC detail engineering, testing, and commissioning.
  • •Lead/overall lead experience on large projects (>10K IOs) for at least 5 years.
  • •Experience integrating third-party systems and interfaces (e.g., Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA/DA/HDA/A&E, ProfiNet, Profibus).
  • •Knowledge of control networks and industrial protocols (TCP/IP, switch/router and domain controller configurations) and ability to optimize engineering man-hours.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (BE/B Tech) in Instrumentation or Electronics, or equivalent education.
  • •Behavioral: strong oral and written English communication and strong customer handling for global projects.
