Key Responsibilities

  • •Process general payroll, including records maintenance, timesheet input, paycheck generation/distribution, payroll transmission, and employee deductions.
  • •Manage garnishments by entering them into Costpoint and making payments to agencies; respond to garnishment inquiries.
  • •Review personnel records to determine pay names/rates/occupations and update wage rates and related payroll register records.
  • •Compute pay per company policy, review payroll for accuracy, and resolve payroll errors and complaints.
  • •Support monthly payroll closing, bonus check processing, leave record updates, and ensure payroll reporting and filings are completed neatly, accurately, and timely.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma.
  • •At least two years of related payroll experience in government contracting.
  • •Working knowledge of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures, including payroll taxes.
  • •Ability to process complex payrolls in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple pay cycles.
  • •ANC (Alaska Native Corporation) experience is a plus.
