Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts end to end (e.g., customer MSAs, procurement frameworks, supplier T&Cs, services agreements, NDAs, and RFPs/bids).
  • •Partner with the go-to-market sales team by providing proactive guidance and leading customer negotiations.
  • •Conduct legal risk assessments, identify and mitigate risks, and decide when to escalate versus resolve independently.
  • •Advise Product/Tech on legal issues from product development, AI feature launches, and platform decisions; support AI contracting and IP considerations.
  • •Own cross-functional legal projects and improve legal operations using playbooks, clause libraries, templates, and training/enablement.

  • •Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 3–5 years post-qualification experience (PQE focus not required to match exactly).
  • •Private practice training background with strong analytical rigour, judgment, and precise drafting.
  • •Ideally 1+ year in-house experience (ideally at a SaaS/technology company), operating as a business partner.
  • •Strong end-to-end B2B commercial contracts experience across customers and suppliers, plus solid GDPR/data privacy knowledge in a commercial context.
  • •Comfort leveraging legal technology and generative AI tools to streamline contract review and legal operations.
