Key Responsibilities

  • •Define how owned products should work, build measurement and evaluation systems for non-deterministic behavior, and gate changes using regression results.
  • •Run continuous evaluation and quality monitoring across APIs, SDKs, data representations, and reference applications, diagnosing gaps and ensuring fixes land.
  • •Own the MVP delivery aligned to a north star technical design while balancing technical perfection with shipping useful increments.
  • •Build and maintain data pipelines and tooling for ingestion, conflation, entity resolution, quality checks, and batch/streaming updates.
  • •Design model/tool boundaries and feedback loops, instrument failures for reproducibility, and optimize latency and cost per request; participate in on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of software engineering experience with production ownership of services, pipelines, or SDKs.
  • •2+ years shipping LLM-backed features to real users with experience handling regressions and operating in on-call/production environments.
  • •Data engineering depth including SQL and experience with a distributed processing framework, especially where correctness mattered more than speed.
  • •Fluency with tool calling and agent orchestration, including failure modes like stale context, hallucinated arguments, silent partial success, and unbounded loops.
  • •Strong Python or TypeScript skills and comfort reading code in whatever language the caller uses.
