Job Summary

Lead production operations in the Prepared Foods division by maintaining high production, quality, and yield while ensuring a safe working environment. Oversee daily production orders, workstation readiness, and line maintenance, while monitoring inventory rotation and accurate product coding. Manage and develop your team through hiring, training, retaining, and counseling, and coordinate with other supervisors to solve processing issues. Ensure machinery performance and USDA inspection readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and manage the team by hiring, training, retaining, counseling, and educating on benefits, compensation, and company policies.
•Maintain production by checking daily production orders, ensuring fulfillment, accurate shipments, record keeping, inventory rotation, and proper product coding.
•Ensure line readiness by staffing all workstations before start-up and guiding the team throughout shifts, including rotating workstations.
•Oversee processing operations, confirm machinery performance, and ensure workstations have passed USDA Inspection.
•Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings, and provide continuous education on quality while coordinating with other supervisors to solve problems.
