Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary technical advisor for an OEM’s engineering team and lead escalations on the most complex device-level issues.
  • •Drive technical strategy for the OEM relationship, including prioritization, closing process gaps, and evolving automation/tooling.
  • •Align across Product, Engineering, Hardware Integrity/Reliability, and Commercial on OEM priorities, especially when tradeoffs arise.
  • •Design and drive adoption of tooling, automation, and process improvements to scale quality across the relationship.
  • •Partner with Commercial to proactively improve the Adyen payment experience on partner devices and mentor other partner solutions engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in a technical solutions, partner engineering, or related role with customer-facing experience (e.g., partner engineer or solutions architect).
  • •4+ years of hands-on embedded, firmware, or systems engineering with meaningful exposure to hardware, embedded, or device-level environments.
  • •Embedded Android experience in a point-of-sale context (e.g., payment terminals, kiosks, unattended/vending machines) is a plus.
  • •Ability to evaluate an OEM’s root-cause claims and hold senior OEM engineering counterparts accountable.
  • •Excellent communication and comfort leading discussions with senior partner engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
