Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios by analyzing user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs. Build and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, integrations, smoke, and regression using modern frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and REST-assured. Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, manage defects and quality metrics, and support production readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, technical designs, and business requirements to define effective test scenarios.
•Create, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, API, UI, smoke, and exploratory tests with traceability to requirements and defects.
•Develop and maintain automated tests to improve coverage and reliability across UI, API, integration, smoke, and regression suites.
•Integrate automated tests into build/deployment pipelines, support quality gates, investigate pipeline failures, and contribute to continuous testing.
•Log, triage, and manage defects, track quality metrics (pass rates, defect trends, automation coverage), and support production readiness activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
•3+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or SDET-focused roles.
•Hands-on experience designing and executing test cases for web, API, integration, and enterprise application workflows.
•Experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, KarateDSL, or REST-assured (plus Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python).
•Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, TestRail, or PractiTest.
