Key Responsibilities

  • •Disassemble aircraft wheels, thoroughly clean all components, and reassemble wheels including hub assembly.
  • •Perform wheel inflation and pressure testing as part of aircraft wheel maintenance.
  • •Prepare and accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
  • •Maintain equipment and ensure sufficient quantities of serviceable aircraft wheels are available to support flight programmes and scheduled maintenance.
  • •Report and encourage Error Management Reporting, addressing or escalating safety concerns immediately, and support audits as required to address or ratify findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised technical qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC (or equivalent acceptable to M&CA) OR a Part 66 licence (current or lapsed) (or equivalent acceptable to M&CA).
  • •Relevant type training (Q Course) and any specific required training.
  • •Saudi Council of Engineering (SCE) registration.
  • •At least 5 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace-applied training (or 3 years on the same aircraft type, or completion of the BAE Systems apprenticeship programme).
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft maintenance and engineering, including human factors, error management, health & safety, and proactive hazard analysis, plus ability to interpret technical diagrams and documentation.
