Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply Safety, Health, and Environment principles to ensure zero harm and support safety initiatives as required.
  • •Lead integrated planning for current and future asset configurations, mining methods, revenue streams, and exploitation strategies, including development of the 5-year business plan.
  • •Coordinate operational planning cycle support by refining, calibrating, and deploying the BSP model and providing insights to the Technical Manager.
  • •Drive reporting and performance management by leading KPI definition, ownership, tracking, self-assurance processes, and leadership reporting.
  • •Implement data analytics and governance practices, including data systems, data quality/governance tools, data forums, and digital literacy initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • •B. Tech or Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Mining, Processing, Geoscience, Industrial) or equivalent on NQF7.
  • •Postgraduate qualification in Business or Engineering Management (NQF8) is preferred.
  • •Demonstrated 6–8 years of relevant experience in integrated planning and reporting within the mining industry/BI.
  • •Proficiency in advanced computer literacy including MS Office (Projects, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong mathematical/statistical skills.
