Job Summary

Own end-to-end data migration delivery by translating Informatica PowerCenter workflows into Python-based extract/load pipelines, dbt transformations, and Airflow orchestration. Build and validate high-volume transfers into the target warehouse, including billion-row datasets, using SQL and database connectivity tools. Contribute to dbt/ Airflow CI/CD, review code, troubleshoot SIT/UAT discrepancies, and produce technical documentation and runbooks for production handover.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess Informatica workflows (sessions, mappings, parameterizations) and convert them into equivalent Python EL scripts and dbt transformation models.
•Develop Python EL pipelines to ingest high-volume data into the target warehouse using SQLAlchemy and related database connectivity tools.
•Design dbt models from Informatica mapping logic using layering, macros, incremental strategies, and snapshot patterns.
•Build dbt-native tests and custom Python unit tests to validate transformation correctness and data quality.
•Develop Airflow DAGs to orchestrate end-to-end execution and produce functionally equivalent outputs, including performance and discrepancy troubleshooting during SIT/UAT.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience with mappings, sessions, workflows, and parameterization.
•3+ years of dbt Core experience, including model layering, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
•3+ years of Airflow experience building DAGs with task dependencies and scheduling.
•5+ years of Python experience using parallelism and batch data processing for production workloads.
•5+ years of SQL experience, including complex joins, window functions, and aggregations across large datasets.
