Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead investigations and containment efforts for security incidents across client environments.
  • •Serve as primary liaison with SophosLabs CTU to incorporate threat intelligence into investigations and client deliverables.
  • •Deliver high-quality written and verbal communications, including technical findings and executive briefings to stakeholders.
  • •Translate threat intelligence into actionable guidance and remediation strategies for clients and internal teams.
  • •Collaborate with internal teams to set investigation priorities and improve tooling and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in the Japanese language.
  • •5+ years of experience leading incident response investigations in organizations and investigating targeted threats impacting customer environments.
  • •Experience with forensics tools: EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, CYLR, Autopsy, Magnet Forensics or open-source tools.
  • •Experience conducting forensics in Microsoft 365 environments.
  • •Deep understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities and ‘Living off the Land’ techniques.
