Key Responsibilities

  • •Own IT’s strategic layer for value-based planning, prioritization, and governance, while enabling teams retain ownership of architecture, delivery, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI enablement.
  • •Manage the contractor bridge and then build, hire, lead, and develop a target-state team (Analyst, Portfolio Manager, Strategist).
  • •Build IT’s strategic planning system, including annual planning, multi-year technology plans, and investment narratives/business cases.
  • •Stand up and maintain shared, visible prioritization and governance so decisions are not made informally or re-litigated team by team.
  • •Own IT financial and procurement/renewal operations, including cost-center modeling, spend consolidation, renewal calendars, contract management, and workforce administration.

  • •Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) or a comparable technology operating model for governing spend, portfolio, and value.
  • •Proven ability to partner with FP&A, Procurement/Legal, Enterprise Architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders without owning their processes.
  • •Exceptional executive-level communication skills to present the department upward and outward.
