Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, run, and alter CNC mills and lathes to perform machining operations.
  • •Evaluate tool wear, make offsets, and load/unload parts in the machine.
  • •Check product specifications, handle nonconforming products, and complete production documentation.
  • •Comply with ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001, and follow 5S+1 and continuous improvement/LEAN activities.
  • •Perform secondary operations, tear down setups, return tooling/fixtures, deliver completed parts, meet productivity expectations, and do light maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate with trade school experience preferred.
  • •Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience; CNC programming experience is a plus.
  • •Knowledge of hand tools and shop math (compound angles, trigonometry).
  • •Ability to read blueprints and set up sheets, and follow machining procedures.
  • •Familiarity with Fanuc controls (feeds, speeds, G codes, M codes) and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
