Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, diagnose issues, and order parts.
  • •Perform safe maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) on a daily basis.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, and maintain service-vehicle cleanliness and professionalism when required.
  • •Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed and provide field mechanic support by traveling to customer job sites when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Have extensive knowledge of construction equipment with advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Provide superior customer service and have strong teamwork plus verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Hold a high school diploma (trade school certificate preferred) and have field service, maintenance, and repair experience (preferred).
  • •Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (must be at least 21) and meet physical requirements (lift up to 50 pounds).
