Key Responsibilities

  • •Responsible for engineering design and modification activities related to electrical & electronic circuits, systems, and equipment, including installation and O&M where applicable.
  • •Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for your discipline area of expertise and develop study/design procedures for high-quality, cost-effective delivery.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings, and prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Use expertise across all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package and participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts; provide input to engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • •8–12 years of work experience is preferred.
  • •Experience in leading large design engineering teams performing Grid Substation design in a global consultancy firm is preferred.
  • •Experience on HV Plant Design for large EHV Grid Substations is mandatory.
  • •Experience in substation protection/control scheme drawings, relay coordination/settings, panel GA drawings, substation SCADA, and communication protocols is preferred.
