Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a 14-week Technical Sales Graduate Training Program and onboard with your team at a predetermined office location.
  • •After training, assume Associate Account Manager responsibilities specializing in Equipment, Services, or Controls in a predetermined location.
  • •Sell HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • •Partner with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers on design, application, and sale of equipment, controls, parts, and services.
  • •Develop and execute territory sales plans, build strategic opportunities, analyze market conditions, and meet sales quotas through new design wins and sales channel management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any engineering area of emphasis), completed prior to the Graduate Training Program start.
  • •Passion for continuous learning in technical fields to understand and communicate engineering solutions.
  • •Prior internship experience at Trane Technologies or ability to work in-office 3 months prior to GTP start date.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with proof of insurance and no major/frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI in the previous 3 years).
