Key Responsibilities

•Efficiently, effectively, and accurately perform teller functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier’s checks.
•Cash checks and negotiable instruments, examine documents for endorsements and negotiability, and process transfers between accounts.
•Verify and balance cash daily, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, and maintain accurate balancing records.
•Operate the online teller terminal while ensuring privacy of customer information and maintaining the bank’s quality reputation.
•Offer and cross-sell other bank products and services, promptly resolve client requests/inquiries, and complete required reports/records.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•Understanding of bank operations preferred.
•At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred.
•Previous teller experience preferred.
•Good communication, professional appearance/attitude, good math and typing skills, and ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, telephone).
