Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate and adjudicate liability and property claims within designated authority in compliance with state insurance laws and procedures.
  • •Verify coverage, establish and maintain reserves, obtain recorded statements, and draft/process correspondence and claim records.
  • •Evaluate and negotiate claims, recognize subrogation opportunities, and set up/issue or decline payment within approved authority.
  • •Respond to inquiries from policyholders, agents, insurance carriers, claimants, and assigned experts; facilitate processing with other departments.
  • •Maintain knowledge of liability laws and motor vehicle/no-fault/medical management/FPB laws by state, and complete required training and licensing.
