Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with Huntsman EHS standards, OSHA PSM regulations, and applicable industry codes and standards for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • •Maintain and support reliability of plant instrumentation, electrical distribution systems, control systems, SIS equipment, and associated assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • •Support turnaround activities, root cause failure analyses, reliability improvement initiatives, and the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • •Support process safety reviews (PHA/HAZOP), hazardous area documentation, and technical support for instrumentation and electrical equipment used in daily operations.
  • •Manage instrument calibration and preventive maintenance programs, including development/updates to engineering documentation, loop sheets, and records in SAP PM.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • •5+ years of relevant Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or refining environment.
  • •Demonstrated technical ownership of plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • •Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles (measurement, control loops, PID tuning, and instrumentation for flow/pressure/temperature/level).
  • •Experience with DCS platforms and/or PLC-based control systems and knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, hazardous area classifications, and ISA standards.
