Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and iterate on the data plane/lakehouse infrastructure that ingests, transforms, and serves financial data for downstream accounting, reporting, and AI agents.
  • •Develop scalable ingestion systems (incremental, watermark-based extraction; file-based S3 inboxes; Postgres → ClickHouse replication) and support adding new sources cheaply.
  • •Implement typed data contracts and schema enforcement at the boundary, making datasets discoverable for consumers.
  • •Deliver secure, multi-tenant data access controls (query scoping and ACLs) to protect customer trust.
  • •Improve correctness, observability, and reporting scalability with completeness checks, re-ingest strategies, and reliable query/materialization patterns.

Salary: USD 125,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful time on data-intensive systems.
  • •Strong SQL and a working understanding of columnar stores, partitioning, and query performance.
  • •Experience with a modern transformation/orchestration stack such as SQLMesh, dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or similar.
  • •Strong general-purpose programming (primarily TypeScript; Python mixed in).
  • •Experience building or operating data pipelines/lakehouse/warehouse systems with opinions about ETLs, idempotency, watermarks, and backfills.
