Job Summary

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Polycom and Cisco Unified Communications systems, including CUCM, UCCX, Webex, and voice recording. Support Cisco voice gateways, SBCs, and IP telephony endpoints, troubleshooting VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP) while monitoring performance and planning capacity. Manage upgrades, patches, backups, UC incident escalations, and integrations with Active Directory, DNS, and certificates.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Polycom and Cisco Unified Communications systems, including CUCM, Cisco Contract Center, Webex, and voice recording.
•Manage and support Cisco voice gateways, SBCs, and IP telephony endpoints (phones and video devices).
•Implement, troubleshoot, and support VoIP protocols including SIP, H.323, MGCP, and SCCP.
•Monitor UC performance, perform capacity planning, and maintain high availability, including upgrades, patches, and backups.
•Provide L2/L3 support for UC incidents, escalations, and change management, integrating UC with Active Directory, DNS, certificates, and networking.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Polycom and Cisco UC technologies (CUCM, UCCX, Webex, voice recording, etc.).
•Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols: SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP.
•Experience with Cisco voice gateways, SBCs, and integrated dial-plan design.
•Proficiency in UC system monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g. RTMT, logs).
