Key Responsibilities

  • •Weld aluminum and copper leads and MIG weld laminated leads to the bus bar.
  • •Braze, weld, or crimp secondary leads to the coil.
  • •Assemble and hook up dual voltage switches and tap changers while considering positioning and clearances.
  • •Fit, cut, and bolt wood braces for secondary and primary leads; measure, cut, strip, insulate, and crimp terminals.
  • •Perform minor coil repair as needed and read blueprints/schematics.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree).
  • •Ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required.
  • •No relocation is being offered; candidates must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
  • •Previous electrical experience or education in AC/DC.
  • •One-year Technical Diploma in welding or equivalent experience.
