Key Responsibilities

  • •Train to perform routine laboratory analyses under direction until proficiency is demonstrated.
  • •Collect samples according to the Sample Plan and perform basic preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
  • •Provide evaluation of validity of data for routine analyses and take appropriate action.
  • •Monitor analytical systems, escalate problems as appropriate, and document, communicate, and archive analytical results.
  • •Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures; suggest improvements to lab processes and tools and escalate non-routine requests to the appropriate team member.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of vocational education or upper secondary education (high school diploma).
  • •Can read basic English articles.

  • •Ability to operate analytical equipment such as GC, FTIR, DSC, and a rheometer is a plus.
  • •Good teamwork and ability to organize basic lab activity.
