Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct operational activities for receipt, processing, and shipment of vehicles, equipment, and repair parts returned by Army units.
  • •Develop and manage shipment schedules, adjusting timelines to prevent bottlenecks during high-volume operations.
  • •Serve as the primary liaison with unit supply, warehouse teams, drivers, and leadership to ensure seamless cargo flow.
  • •Review, validate, and authorize shipping/receiving documents (including DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 1149, bills of lading, TCMDs, and load plans).
  • •Audit and reconcile movement data in TC-AIMS II, GCSS-Army, and DPAS; maintain shipping/receiving log oversight and deliver daily/weekly movement status reports.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of transportation or logistics coordination in an Army contractor or military environment.
  • •Strong familiarity with Army regulations and transportation requirements, including DTR 4500.9-R, AR 55-355, AR 710-2, and AR 735-5.
  • •Experience with Army turn-in or SSA operations, and systems such as TC-AIMS II, GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP.
  • •Ability to read, interpret, and prepare Army transportation forms and shipping/receiving documentation (e.g., DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 1149, bills of lading).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and knowledge of HAZMAT handling, DOT/OSHA safety, and cargo securement; must obtain CAC and Tier1/NACI (Public trust).
